Join the St. John’s community as we come together to raise
awareness in the fight against childhood cancer at the fourth
annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Locks of Love event –
Last year, we shaved 72 heads, donated 63 Locks of Love and raised
over $33,800 to find cures for childhood cancer!
In 2013….We are doing it again!!! Participants are asked to raise
money, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the St. Baldrick’s
Foundation. As part of our solidarity with the children who suffer
with cancer, anyone who participates is asked to shave their heads

How to join?
For St. Baldrick’s, register directly on-line at
www.stbaldricks.org, find an event, register at St. John’s
University. Don’t forget to post a before picture!!! All monies
raised should be brought the day of the event before your head is
shaven!
For Locks of Love, register with Angela Seegel at seegela@stjohns.edu or
718-990-2680.
On that day, you will be provided with the release forms and the
proper enclosure to mail your locks of love. To know if you are
eligible to donate to Locks of Love, visit locksoflove.org for the donation
criteria.
