Overview
To celebrate Kappa Delta Pi’s Centennial anniversary, educators are asked to reflect and write about significant changes in the field of education over the last century and how education may evolve as we move into the 21st century.

Contest Objectives and Guidelines
The Essay Contest will evaluate participants in one of three categories: 1) pre-K–12 Practitioners; 2) Undergraduate and Graduate Students; and 3) University Faculty and preK–16 Educational Administrators.

Participants may be currently employed or retired.


Participant must write an essay of 750–1,000 words (approximately 3–5 pages) in a narrative format. Be sure the essay has a strong thesis statement that is developed throughout the paper.
