On March 5th, Kappa Eta held a Northeast Regional Conference at St.
John's University, Queens. The event was a true success as we
celebrated Founder's Day and Kappa Delta Pi's 100th birthday.
We also welcomed a number of new friends to the Kappa Eta
family. Over fifty people attended the conference and they
learned more than anticipated.

The KDP Conference offered workshops in Methodologies in Science,
Smart Board, Cyber-Bullying, Counseling and Life Choices, and
Interviewing and Career Building. The presenters had
excellent reviews and members stated that they would return for
another conference.
During lunch, Kappa Eta members, SOE students, and other KDP
chapters from the Northeast Region enjoyed a great meal as they
were tested on KDP history through our special Jeopardy game.
Members were stumped on a few questions but they finished the game
learning more about KDP's history and mission than they originally
knew. After Jeopardy, we all came together to sing Happy
Birthday to KDP and eat the vanilla iced cake.
Colleges that attended included St.
Francis College, University of Hartford, and York
College. Happy birthday, KDP!!!
