What do I need to do to prepare for the
ePortfolio Project?
In the semesters prior to enrolling in student teaching, all
undergraduate students will work to develop a program portfolio.
The program portfolio captures moments of learning and growth
throughout the academic process. Undergraduates will receive
DIGIcation accounts and information to begin the process of editing
their ePortfolio and have opportunities to work on their program in
selected courses. Students should familiarize themselves with the
six School of Education Teaching Quality Principles (see below)
which will serve as the formal structure of the ePortfolio. To
facilitate this process students should maintain records of all
course materials throughout their academic program. The School of
Education Teaching Quality Principles address the following
areas:
• Subject
Knowledge
• Pedagogical
Knowledge
• Caring &
Teaching Skill
• Learning to
Learn
• Diversity &
Multicultural Understandings
• Technology
Integration
