mentoring program has given me insight into how to study my teacher
exams, has prompted me to attend many more SOE events than I
would've without it, and has allowed me to build a friendship with
someone with the same major and concentration as I have, someone I
get along with, therefore making me feel much more confident in my
role as a future teacher. I'm really loving it...can't wait to see
what next semester has in store!"

family. STAR is something that all of St. John's would benefit from
because most freshmen and transfers need that assistance from an
older buddy who can show them the ropes and calm any fears they may
