The School of Education Hosts Education Society Induction, Queens

The Education Society of the Queens Campus held its annual induction ceremony at The Sly Fox Inn on May 1, 2009.  The elegant ceremony was attended by current members and twenty-one new initiates.  The ceremony included the induction of seventeen new members as well as honoring a number of students who have shown an excellence in academics and service throughout the academic year.

The inductees for the 2008 – 2009 academic year were Jaqueline Bloom, Kelly Chiron, Angela Chu, Lauren D’Amico, Jaclyn DeStefano, Lori Dougherty, Alexandra Foukalas, Nicole Fulgoni, Caroline Gallo, Ashley Hartmann, Madeline Havenar, Kizzy Hodge, Danieta Morgan, Dolores Rappa, Ashley Thomas, Dea-Marie Tompkins, and Erica Torres. 

Members of the Education Society are dedicated to embodying the Vincentian Mission of St. John’s University through their commitment to service for all.  They strongly believe in making a difference in the community and helping to create a better learning experience and environment for all.
