These photos are a small window into The School of Education’s
illustrious 100 years of existence. Join with us as we take a
look back, but most importantly, a look forward to the next 100
years of celebration.
The changes may be evident as you look at the photos from the
early 1900’s to the present. However, the mission of the
School of Education has never wavered. St. John’s University
and the School of Education continue to instill the core values
that began this prestigious university. We strive to graduate
well-educated and successful teachers.
The pictures you are viewing tell stories of former and present
deans, graduation yearbooks - The Warrior, The School of Education
newspaper - the Quill, and a faculty dinner from 1952.
There is also a rendition of the original location of St. John’s
University in Brooklyn. Others are from yearbook pictures dated
from the 1950's from St. John’s Teacher’s College,
the former name of the School of Education.
