On September 14, 2006, St. John’s School of Law honored Professor
Robert M. Zinman as he began his final year of full-time
teaching with a reception and dinner at the University Club, New
York, NY. Dean Mary Daly announced the establishment of the
Robert M. Zinman Bankruptcy Scholarship Fund at the event. It
will provide an annual scholarship to a deserving LL.M. in
Bankruptcy student at the Law School beginning in the fall of
2007.

The dinner and reception was attended by over 250 bankruptcy
practitioners, judges, St. John’s law school alumni, faculty and
friends. More than $170,000 was raised for the Scholarship
Fund from donations and the proceeds of the
dinner.
