Global, Collaborative, and Professional Opportunities

Collaborative Opportunities

The School of Education faculty write the grants, books, articles and research proposals that enable students to participate in school partnerships, develop and present original research, and work with performing artists from Lincoln Center to promote creativity in teaching. As constituents of a major University students can find collaborative opportunities across colleges, campuses and continents.

Global Advantage

Recognizing that experience fosters good teaching skills, we encourage our students to broaden their horizons by participating in our Discover the World Program with a semester spread across campuses in Rome, Paris, London and beyond.  To learn more about our Study Abroad opportunities, click here.

Social & Professional Opportunities

Fraternities, sororities, the national honor society-Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) and Dean’s Scholars are all part of the social scene for Education majors who balance their days filled with academics and service learning. KDP was recently honored for its achievements at a national conference in Orlando, Fl., where students had an opportunity to present research along with faculty.
