St. John’s women’s basketball standout Da’Shena Stevens was
named to the Naismith Trophy preseason watch list, as announced by
the Atlanta Tipoff Club. The Naismith Trophy is the most
prestigious national award presented annually to college
basketball’s player of the year.
Stevens is one of 50 players selected to the preseason list and is
one of eight BIG EAST Conference players to garner the
distinction.
