The Associate Degree in Criminal Justice is uniquely designed as the first step towards earning the Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. It satisfies the education requirements of the New York Police Department and many other police departments.

Admissions Requirement
Undergraduate admission is based on many factors, including previous academic performance, satisfactory achievement on standardized tests, personal recommendations, and other indications of an applicant's interests, motivation, and potential.

Graduation Requirements
Candidates for the Associate program in Criminal Justice are required to complete 60 credits of a prescribed program of study. A minimum cumulative quality point index of 2.0 on a scale of 4.0 is required for all courses, and also for courses in the major area. Graduates of the New York City Police Department may be awarded credit for field training.
