Dr. Furfero has been teaching economics and finance at St. John's since 1980. She previously taught economics at St. Peter's College. During her time at St. John's, Dr. Furfero has taught a variety of courses, including monetary and fiscal policies, money and banking, capital and money markets, and investments. She started teaching on-line in Fall 1997. Dr. Furfero also has a part-time law practice where she specializes in general civil litigation and contracts. She is admitted to practice in New York and the federal courts. Her current research interests are in the areas of economics, finance, law, and on-line education.
