Entertainment is the second largest revenue-producing industry in New York City and State. In the city, media and entertainment gained 10,500 jobs last year — a 6.6 percent boost. Movie production was up 10 percent, and broadcasting added 1,700 jobs. Experts predict that employment will continue to grow over the next 20 years.Back to top
