Paramedics and EMT's are Allied Health professionals who treat a cross-section of patients in advanced life support primarily in pre-hospital settings. They perform a wide variety of emergency medical services including working as part of a health care team. Providing continual evaluation and assessment of patient needs and informing attending doctors of the patient’s progress and response to treatment.

Additional Health Sciences Program Offerings:
The EMS Institue also offers American Heart Association courses; as well as Defensive Driving Courses.

All our EMS programs use an interactive on-line Learning Management System (LMS) allowing the student to be able to take quizzes at their leisure and in their home or using our computer center located at the Dr. Bartilucci Center. Students are required to have computer access for any of our courses.
