Student Research Events
St. John's University’s Research Month 2013 invites you to
participate in a series of Student Research events designed to
showcase the academic research accomplishments of you, our
students! Student Research events, to be held on Thursday,
April 11, enable students to present their academic
research and scholarship. These are not limited to the sciences or
the traditional interpretation of the word “Research.” We have a
number of venues to enable students in any discipline to display
professional level scholarship or academic research.
Events include:
- Poster Presentation
1-3 p.m., Carnesecca Arena - Oral Presentation, Panel Discussion, Roundtable
Noon to 4 p.m., D'Angelo Center, 210, 212, 301, 311,
312 - Fine Arts Presentation
10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., D'Angelo Center 128 - Film Screening/Performance Art
Noon to 4 p.m., The Little Theatre
The student research projects created by the Discover New York
students are available as online presentations at the "Project DNY"
website, http://projectdny.pbworks.com.
These events will create an opportunity for you to tell faculty
and other students about your project and to be creative in a way
that allows you to best reflect your research
