Distance Learning Services

While the Libraries recognize there are differences between on-campus and distance-education learning experiences, it is our goal to minimize these differences as much as possible. The Libraries’ Home Page has been designed with this in mind and it should be your first stop in locating materials to complete your course and research assignments.

The past decade has seen enormous growth in the ability of the Libraries to deliver library materials (books and full-text periodical articles particularly) anywhere in the world on a moment's notice. Examine the resources at right and explore the library materials that are available to you.

If you have questions please contact us using any of the addresses you find on the Libraries’ pages or get in touch with the Libraries' distance learning contact person: Charles Livermore (Associate Professor, Libraries): livermop@stjohns.edu; 718-990-5330.

In addition, our 24 hour e-mail reference service (Ask us!) is also available to you. You may send your questions at any time, day or night, to Ask us!. Our average response time to these questions is under 6 hours.
