Summer 2008:Due to
renovations in the Queens Main Library, the Instructional Materials
Center will be closed from May 19-August 25.
The Instructional Materials Center (IMC) is a unique part of
the University Libraries that supports and enriches the programs of
the School of Education. The IMC collects and disseminates
specialized information for the students with the nationwide
assemblage of curriculum guides, textbooks and accompanying
materials, audio-visual teaching aids and hardware,
three-dimensional learning tools, publisher and distributor
catalogues, educational and psychological tests, computers and
software.
The existence of the IMC should enable pre-service and in-service
teachers to examine the latest curriculum materials available in
order to develop competency and familiarity. It is located on the
fourth floor of the library.
