  Search Tips

#1: Put your most important keywords first.

#2: Use the plus (+) and minus (-) signs before words to force their inclusion (+) or exclusion (-) in the search. Do not put a space between the sign and the keyword. For example: +new +york +city or +new +york +state -city

#3: Use double quotation marks (" ") around a phrase to ensure it is searched exactly as is, with the words side by side in the same order. For example: "global warming"

#4: Use the asterisk symbol * to search for word variations.

For example: govern* would find the words govern, government, governing, governmental, etc. while wom*n would find both woman and women.

#5: When searching a document for the location of your keywords, use the "find" command on that page (usually Ctrl + F).
