Rome Library

The collection at the Rome Library is presently about 1,300 titles, primarily reference and other monographic materials. In addition, there are subscriptions to 18 periodicals that support the curriculum at the Rome campus. The strengths of the collection are: political science, international business, finance and economics. Electronic resources provide a major means of access to information for students and faculty on the Rome campus. These include the Libraries' electronic bibliographic databases, which give the Rome campus access to over 12,000 online journals. Among databases most frequently used are:

T he Library emphasizes electronic formats for the convenience of our students and researchers. The full complement of the Libraries' electronic resources can be accessed through the Libraries' Resources page. The Rome Library is staffed primarily by graduate assistants, who change periodically. The current graduate assistant is Sara Edmonson. One of the most effective curriculum support tools for the Rome campus is the Libraries' eReserves service. Items not available in the Rome Library but available in the Main Library (e.g. chapters of books and articles from journals not available online) are scanned and made available electronically.
