Exchange Student Registration Facts:

  • Exchange students are expected to be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours each semester. 
  • Registration is completed upon arrival and after completion of the English Language Proficiency Test (when applicable).
  • Based on the results of the English Language Test, you may be required to take additional English language courses along with your major courses. Please keep this in consideration when discussing the course requirements with your home institution.
  • Native English language speakers and non-native English speaker with sufficient TOEFL or SAT scores are exempt from taking this test.

Tuition and Fees

Exchange students will pay tuition for the courses taken at St. John's University to their home institution. In addition, they will also be responsible for St. John's University fees, including the University General Fee, Student Government Activities Fee and Health Insurance Fee.
