The original Cotton Club opened in the 1920′s when central Harlem was the playground of the rich. The club was a white-only establishment even though it featured many of the greatest Black entertainers of the era. Although it has segregated beginnings, the Cotton Club is remembered today as a beacon of culture and freedom. Join us as we commemorate this phenomenal venue that provided music and art to African Americans for years!
