The visa application process is dependent on your country of
nationality. The instructions we provide are specific to U.S.
citizens. If you are not a U.S. citizen we can still help you, but
it is your responsibility to determine if you need a visa and if
you are required to provide any additional items for your student
visa application. The best starting point is the embassy website
of the country you will be studying in.
You will also want to see what the visa requirements are for you
to travel between the European Union countries and within
the Schengen area as well as non-Schengen and EU countries.

includes 27 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyrpus, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta,
Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain,
Sweden and United Kingdom.
The Schengen area includes 26 Countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia,

European Law cancelled the obligation for European citizens to
request a Permit of Stay inside the European Union area - therefore
if you hold a valid European passport for the entire period of your
stay in Italy, you do not need to process any formal immigration
procedure as you are a European student. It is very important
that you do not lose these documents, so make sure you carry them
with you when you travel around Europe!
