Italian Visa Information

Visa Application Due: May 3

Unless you’re a European Union citizen, you will need a visa to study abroad. While you will need to prepare the visa application and supporting documents, we’ll apply for the visa on your behalf!

What this means for you is that instead of making an appointment and going to the consulate yourself to submit your application, you'll simply submit a completed application along with the required supporting documents to the Office of Global Studies by May 3. We'll then apply on your behalf at our scheduled group application appointment.

The visa processing fee is $200.00 and will be applied to your student account.

Please let us know if you are applying for the Italian visa on your own as there are additional steps and requirements you'll need to take into consideration. If you decide to apply for a visa on your own, you will be responsible for the cost of the Permesso di Soggiorno which is €190 (approximately $250) as well as completing the visa application process (including making and attending the visa appointment).

Step 1: Complete the visa application and collect all required documents

Please use this application and checklist as it contains details regarding each requirement. We can only accept completed application packets (this includes your passport) so make sure the appropriate forms are notarized and you’ve made all the necessary photocopies (we can help with the photocopying if need be). Follow the checklist exactly and you shouldn’t have any issues!
