Preparations for your time abroad can seem daunting at times,
but following our instructions can be as easy as 1, 2, 3. We even
have a weekly newsletter to help you stay on top of the deadlines.
You should also familiarize yourself with the booklists and other
information we provide for your benefit. It may seem like a
lot, but follow our advice and you'll be on the plane in no
time!
If you have any questions or concerns throughout the process,
we’re here to help. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the
website first so that we can better assist you, but you should
always feel free to contact
us.
Visa Information
Visas are not required for US or EU citizens.
Students who are not US or EU citizens may need a visa for all
three countries in the program. Depending on citizenship, visa
applicants may experience challenges and difficulties in obtaining
the necessary visas for this program. Keep in mind that you will
not be able to participate in the program if you are not in
compliance with the immigration requirements, and failure to obtain
a visa will not be grounds for a refund of any program fees. If you
are a non-US or EU citizen, we recommend attending a
visa information session to discuss potential challenges
and possible options. Click
here for general information on contacting the
consulate.

Course Registration
The Office of Global Studies will register you for the
actual Pharmacy 6th year course abroad. Course enrollment for
the fall will be completed by April. Any changes to
your course registration must be pre-approved by your advising
dean.
Online Course Considerations:
- We are not able to register you for distance learning (online)
classes taken while abroad; to register for a distance learning
course, please request a priority registration number from your
dean's office.
- Keep in mind that programs abroad begin before the
semester starts in New York. Course material and book information
could be announced close to or after your departure date making it
difficult to obtain the book and other course material before you
leave. We suggest reaching out to the professor of the online
course prior to your departure to ensure you receive this
information. Make sure you explain that you are studying
abroad!
- Consider the time differences and the steps you'll need to
take to ensure your assignments are submitted
on-time.
