Getting a Passport:
Deadline ASAP
If you don’t have a passport—or if your current passport expires
before July 15, 2013—we advise you to apply for one
immediately.
A passport is required for all Global Studies programs taking
place outside the United States. We recommend that you have your
passport in hand by December 1 to ensure that you are able to
complete the pre-departure requirements, including obtaining a
visa, if necessary. Contact us if you have questions!
Expediting your Passport
Expedited passport service is available for an additional fee.
If you need your passport within 14 days, you can visit the
passport expediting agency in Manhattan. They can process your
passport in as little as 24 hours (exact time depends on the
situation). In order to take advantage of this process, you'll need
to stop by our office to pick up a Passport Expedition Letter.
Then, visit the Department of State’s passport information website
for information on
how to schedule an appointmentfor a rush passport and what you
need to bring with you to submit
