Take a Class in Mass Communications in
India
This course explored the diverse culture, historic landmarks,
and how media has transformed one of the most unimaginably complex
and fastest growing countries in the world. Students had the
opportunity of a lifetime to study Mass Communications in India
(CAS 1704), while examining its impact on social and economic
development. Studying at various prestigious Indian universities,
with Dr. Basilio Monteiro, a distinguished St. John’s University
professor. This study tour included a visit to the amazing Taj
Mahal in Agra. Students participated in a taping of a national
television program in Delhi, and had some time to relax on
breathtaking Arabian Beaches in Goa! While in Hyderabad, the class
the pleasure to visit the Guinness Book of World Record’s largest
film city in the world – Ramoji.
