This course explores the diverse culture, historic landmarks, and how media has transformed one of the most unimaginably complex and fastest growing countries in the world. Students have the opportunity of a lifetime to study Mass Communications in India while examining its impact on social and economic development. Coursework will take place at various prestigious Indian universities, with Dr. Basilio Monteiro, a distinguished St. John’s University professor. This program also includes a visit to the amazing Taj Mahal in Agra. Students will participate in a taping of a national television program in Delhi, and relax on breathtaking Arabian beaches in Goa! In addition, students will travel to Kerala.
