Since pre-Biblical times, few countries have inspired and fascinated visitors like Egypt. From the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the marvels of the Ancient world, to the thriving metropolis that is Cairo, this program is your gateway to exploring the wonder that is Egypt. As the call to morning prayers rings out from the minarets of the central mosque, you will live and learn in Egypt, exploring cities such as Cairo, Luxor and Sharm el-Sheikh.
On this program, you will learn about Arabic culture by interacting with Egyptian people on a daily basis while learning Arabic language. In Cairo, you will explore the priceless wonders of the Pyramids, the Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara. In Luxor, you will visit the Luxor and Karnak temples of the East Bank, and the Valley of the Kings and the Queen Hatchepsut temple in the West Bank. Finally, you will visit Sharm el-Sheikh, a port and resort town at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula.
