Ring in the New year in the only place on earth were you can see
the world's tallest building, the world's largest man-made island
and the world's most luxurious hotel, all in one day! At once a
symbol of Arabic history and one of the world's major economic
centers, the Emirates of Dubai is the perfect starting point for
your studies in Arabic Language and Culture. Through an in-depth
examination of the Arabic culture and civilization, this course
will analyze the climatic, historical, education and social factors
related to the rapidly changing cultural landscape of the Middle
East.
With the perfect balance of culture and educational
opportunities, students will experience Arabic culture first-hand
including a Dubai dinner cruise on a traditional dhow, a "Bedouin
night," and a true desert safari and dinner. Program fee also
includes a visit to the Emirates Abu Dabi, Al Ain and Sharjah,
where you will get to know nationals of the UAE over
dinner.
