Turkey

Study in the global country where the East meets the West!

The East and the West meet in Turkey, which is the gateway of both Europe and Asia. Surrounded by the Mediterranean and Black Seas, this country stands at the intersection of diverse cultures and seminal historical periods. A vast range of historical events and socio-cultural expressions have distinctively shaped the environment of contemporary Turkey.

Visits to various cities and cultural sites will provide the participants with an immediate experience of the rich historical and cultural wealth of Turkey. Inhabited since the Neolithic era, it has been home to the Hittites, Greeks, Byzantines and Ottomans. Turkey provides a vast array of traditions and customs, as well as a unique view of multiplicity within its own borders.
