Learn Mass Communications in one of the World’s Major Media Centers!

Imagine having an insider’s view of mass communications in the “City of Light”! Gain important hands-on experience during site visits to leading media and cultural venues throughout Paris, all while you develop an understanding of the relationship between culture and communications. Throughout your time in France, you’ll come to understand how culture influences and constructs media—and vice versa.

Accommodations:  St. John's Paris Campus

In Paris, you will stay at the newly renovated St. John’s University Paris campus located in the popular St-Germain district also known as the 6th arrondissement.  The campus is just across the street from the Vaneau metro stop and within walking distance of the Musée d’Orsay, Musée du Louvre, Jardin du Luxembourg, Cathédral de Notre Dame and the Musée Rodin.

While on campus you will have access to a fully-wired computer lab with printers, spacious meeting rooms and a student lounge. Our bilingual staff, including a Residence Director and resident assistants will be there to assist you with your needs.

Room accommodations include two single beds, wardrobes and desks per room (one per student), linens provided for your use during your stay, air conditioning in each room, wireless internet access, digital phones. Shared bathroom facilities on each residence floor.

Program fee includes accommodations at the Paris campus; welcome and farewell dinners; 8 meals per week in Paris; metro passes in Paris; and all entrances cultural sites and museums, including a dinner boat cruise down the Seine.
