Come with us to discover our neighbor to the north, Canada. As our closest neighbor and our largest trading partner, Canada represents an exciting opportunity to gain an international experience close to home. Break language and cultural barriers and embrace the great range of history and spectacle in Sport Management: Olympic Sports in the 21st Century.

As part of this program you will attend the 2011 Conference of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) from June1-June 4 at the University of Western Ontario, expanding your knowledge of sport management by adopting an international perspective. Travel to Toronto and and London, Ontario will be included in the program.

You will also have the unique opportunity to travel to some of the most famous and historically significant venues of Canadian sport and have a better understanding of the varied ways that sport management changes in the international setting. From the Soviet Union’s dominance of the 1976 Summer Games in Montreal to Sidney Crosby’s gold medal-winning goal in the climactic US-Canada hockey showdown just last year, this is your chance to explore global sports from a Canadian perspective.
