St. John’s Celebrates Black History Month

February 19, 2013

In celebration of Black History Month, St. John’s University invites you to attend an array of educational and interactive events that will highlight multicultural organizations on the Queens and Staten Island campuses. This year’s theme, “At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality: The Emancipation Proclamation and the March on Washington,” honors the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.

Throughout February, you can participate in panel discussions, community service projects, lectures, and other entertainment. For a full list, visit www.stjohns.edu/bhm.
