St. John’s University has three distinctive semester long
programs for you to choose from: Discover the World: Europe, Paris
semester, and our premier Rome semester. Each program
has been carefully developed with students' needs in mind. For
those of you who are interested in taking advantage of traveling in
one semester, we offer the Discover the World program. For
others who prefer to get to know one location better, our Rome or
Paris campuses may be ideal for you. As a Vincentian school we
include service learning opportunities in each location for
students to help change the world and understand their host country
on a deeper level.

Discover the World: Europe – in a single semester, you’ll
immerse yourself in the languages, cultures, and communities of
three countries through this innovative St. John’s program.
Experience life in a variety of countries to gain a broader
understanding of the issues shaping our changing world.

Discover the World: Pharmacy – designed especially
for pharmacy majors this specialized program offers you
the same coursework offered in Queens in three countries using
the innovative Discover the World format. All students will
visit Paris, Rome and Salamanca in one semester while staying on
track for graduation.

Paris semester - spend a full semester or even a year at St.
John’s new campus in Paris, France! Enjoy our completely renovated
facilities located in the 6th arrondissement, just a quick cab ride
or stroll from famous Parisian landmarks. Bring to life the
art, culture and politics that have inspired luminaries throughout
history!

Pharmacy Sixth Year Program - Especially designed for
sixth year Pharmacy students this program allows students to take
CPP 6104: Geriatric Pharmacotherapy in a
five-week program during the spring semester while staying on
track for graduation!

Rome Semester - spend a full semester or even a year at St.
John’s University’s campus in Rome, Italy – a premier academic
institution in the heart of the Eternal City. While there, you’ll
conduct an in-depth exploration of Italian history, language and
culture, using the distinctive academic resources of this
remarkable city.
