The Switzerland of Central
America
With its stability and political neutrality, Costa Rica is known as

in 1949 and passed a law forbidding the maintenance of a standing
army. The peaceful Ticos – as Costa Ricans are known – will
introduce you to the world of eco-tourism in Central America.
