St. John’s University has several distinctive semester long
programs for you to choose from. Experience an academic adventure
of a lifetime, while staying on track for graduation though
enrolling in one of our General Semester
Programs or Major-Specific
Programs. Further, as a Vincentian school we include
service learning opportunities in each location, which allow
students to gain a deeper understanding of their host country while
giving back to their community.
All Semester Programs fill on a rolling basis and often reach
capacity before the suggested application deadline – so please
apply early!

Discover the World: Europe
In a single semester, you’ll immerse yourself in the languages,
cultures, and communities of three countries through this
innovative St. John’s program.
Discover Italy: Rome Semester
Spend a full semester or even a year at St. John’s University’s
campus in Rome, Italy – a premier academic institution in the heart
of the Eternal City.
Discover France: Paris Semester
Spend a full semester or even a year at St. John’s new campus in
Paris, France!
Discover Spain: Seville Semester (Fall Semester Only)
Introducting our NEW fall semester in Seville, Spain. Be a pioneer
this fall and study abroad in Spain!
Major-Specific Semester Programs:
Discover the World: Psychology
Designed specifically for Psychology
majors and minors, this program allows students to travel to three
major European cities while being enrolled in psychology and core
classes.
Discover the World: Pharmacy (Spring Semester Only)
This program is designed especially for 2nd year Pharmacy majors
and allows students to stay on track for graduation.
Discover Italy: Rome Pharmacy (Spring Semester Only)
2nd year Pharmacy students now have the option of working towards
their degree while spending a semester in Rome, Italy!
Pharmacy 6th Year Program (Fall Semester Only)
Designed for sixth year Pharmacy students, this program allows
students to spend a 4-week rotation in Rome during the fall
semester, while staying on track for graduation!
