Faculty members are the best recruiters for their own
programs. You have the most contact with students.
Students know and trust you and would feel comfortable traveling
with you. Studies have shown that faculty members play an
important role in promoting study abroad programs to their
students.
We suggest the following strategies:
- Ask your colleagues if you could give a quick pitch for your
program during their classes.
- Post information about your program on your departmental
website.
- Send out e-blasts.
- Create flyers.
- Sign up to do an Information Session. This is
the perfect opportunity for students to meet you and get first hand
information about your program. The Office of Global Studies
will be glad to organize a session for you. Contact Jeff Sherman at
