Another exciting opportunity for Global Studies students!
Glimpse, a nonprofit website about the experiences of young
Americans studying abroad, is offering students the opportunity to
win a $600 stipend! Last year, Glimpse received over 600
applications, and chose nine exceptionally talented young writers
and photographers, who are busy producing some great stories about
getting to know camel merchants in Egypt, belly dancers in Cyprus,
socialites in Swaziland… the list goes on and on!
The Glimpse Correspondents Program is for talented writers and
photographers with a passion for storytelling and a knack for
finding truly unique stories. The program is open to anyone who
will be working, volunteering, or studying outside of their home
country for at least 10 weeks. Correspondents receive the following
benefits:
- $600 stipend
- Professional editorial support
- Career training in travel writing and photography
- Publication on Matador and Glimpse.org

Applications for the Fall 2012 Correspondents Program are now
