The Global Studies Academic
Advantage
Dynamic and interactive academics are at the core of the St.
John’s Global Studies programs, engaging various liberal arts-based
disciplines for insight into politics, art, history, religion and
economics. All of our programs offer solid academics and are taught
by outstanding international faculty. We offer a broad range of
disciplines, ensure small class size to maintain a low student to
professor ratio and hand-select professors based on subject area
expertise.
Past courses have come from many disciplines, including:
- Anthropology
- Art History
- Economics
- English
- European Political History
- French
- International Business
- International Relations
- Italian Language
- Management
- Philosophy
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Spanish
- Theology
- Urban Studies: Rome’s History
Independent study projects are also available for students who
have a particular area of interest and advanced language
proficiency.
Please note that distance learning (online) classes may also be
taken while studying abroad.
For students with advanced French or Italian language skills,
there are internship opportunities that offer exposure to work
situations in France and Italy.
