The first students to live and learn in Europe through St.
John’s University’s amazing new “Discover the World” program are
now sharing their experiences.
The students have emailed photos from the three European cities

orientation, they began their immersion in the arts, culture,
economics and politics of:
Through “Discover the World – Europe,” the students are enjoying
all three cities while earning 15 credits in just one semester.
Guided by St. John’s faculty, they combine coursework with tours of
historic sites, cultural institutions and European Union
offices.
Reflecting St. John’s mission as a Catholic university in the
Vincentian tradition, the students also are participating in
special service opportunities.
This is the first semester of “Discover the World,” which St.
John’s created to give students the global perspective needed for
success in today’s workplace. The University plans to expand the
program to Latin America next semester.
