A UNESCO World Heritage Landmark

Like Dublin, Salamanca is a World Heritage site. A treasure trove of medieval and Renaissance architecture, Salamanca is also the seat of the University of Salamanca—Spain’s oldest university and St. John’s new partner institution. Starting this spring 2008, Discover the World: Europe students will be housed and take classes at the historic university, allowing you to interact with students from across Europe and the world.

Sunshine, history and romance will fill your days in Salamanca. Wander through the winding streets of the teeming “Old Town.” Marvel at the city’s vast collection of Renaissance architecture, including glorious cathedrals where the faithful have gathered for hundreds of years.

Housing is in a college student residence located 10 minutes’ from the University of Salamanca.
