St. John’s University has chosen the Eternal City of Rome as its home base. Students have the chance to experience an exciting aspect of the international communication industry.  The uniqueness of this program lies in its foundation of hands on learning.

Housing
Students stay at the Medaglie d’Oro Residence.  It offers three- and four-bedroom furnished-apartments, most with balconies overlooking the hills of Rome.  The Residence is a five-minute walk to Vatican City and to the largest daily open-market in Rome, the Trionfale. It is also conveniently located close to a metro station.

  • Day trips to Montecassino and Assisi, Florence
  • Service Learning Experience
  • Vatican Museum visit

  • Tour of the Italian Hollywood (Cinecitta)\
  • Visits to newspaper headquarters and television stations
  • Walking Tours around Rome
