Applications are accepted starting in November 2006, in a
rolling admission process. Qualified individuals will be admitted,
as spaces are available.
St. John's University Summer Program in Paris and the South of
France is a unique experience that offers students the opportunity
to learn the language and culture of the country, and to experience
a cosmopolitan city and the countryside. This program enables
students to better understand the local and global dimensions of
today's world and to increase their ability to function
proficiently in a variety of settings, by exposing them to new
ideas and opportunities.

- ART 1255A: The French Sketchbook
- ART 1775A: Art and Architecture in France
Besides living in Paris, students spend time in the South of
France. They participate in an exciting service-learning experience
and get credit for it in the Drôme Provençale. The French
government has tailored a program just for St. John's students, in
which they will work in a restoration project at a monastery and
also take part in cultural, sports activities, and political
debates. Live, work, and have fun in a real French environment!
Students may enroll in up to six credits.
