Welcome Reception and Concert Features Tenor Micheal Castaldo

August 30, 2012

Micheal Castaldo is a Berklee College of Music graduate and an award-winning Italian classical-crossover tenor, whose work has been called a "plush world of ballads and utter sweetness" by celebritycafe.com and "the perfect complement to an Italian music collection" by La Gazzetta Italiana.

Born in Italy, Castaldo grew up in Canada and now lives in New York City.  At an early age, he studied voice with Maestro Nicola Pisapia, a protégé of the great Italian operatic tenor, Enrico Caruso.  Castaldo has recorded an extensive catalogue of music, sings in multiple languages and specializes in a variety of music styles including Opera, Pop and Italian folk.
