Dr. Michael J. Maran received a B.A. from Rutgers University, a
Ph.D., from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from St.
John's University, where he is currently an Associate Professor of
Economics and Finance.
His teaching specialties lie in Securities and Antitrust Law and
Law & Economics. In 1980, he was granted tenure at The Peter J.
Tobin College of Business and in 2002 was made an honorary
member of Omicron Delta Epsilon for outstanding teaching and
service to the Department of Economics and Finance.
