Laura Lee Mannino, LL.M.Assistant Professor of Accounting and
TaxationAssistant Professor Laura Lee Mannino, holds an LL.M. degree in
Taxation from New York University School of Law, which she earned
in January 2001 and is currently registered as a licensed Certified
Public Accountant in the State of New York. She has also been
admitted to the bar in the States of New York and Connecticut and
is licensed as an Attorney at Law in those states.
Professor Mannino was a tax associate at the prestigious law
firm of Thelen Reid & Priest, LLP and was a senior associate at
PricewaterhouseCoopers. She was also a summer associate at
Jaspen Schlesinger Silverman & Hoffman, LLP and a litigation
support intern at Urbach, Kahn & Werlin, PC. In addition, she
obtained her audit experience at KPMG Peat Marwick, where she was a
senior auditor. Her article, "Breaking the Taxing Bonds of
Marriage: Partial Relief for the Innocent Spouse," was published in
the Hofstra Law Review.
