Alois J. Theis Endowed Chair and Professor of Finance
Dr. Martin's teaching and research areas include international finance and corporate financial management. She joined the Tobin College of Businss (TCB) in 2006 with 13 years of university teaching experience. She has been honored by TCB with the 2007 Outstanding Research Award and the 2010 Teaching Excellence Award.
Dr. Martin has accumulated numerous publications in academic and practitioner journals, such as Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Review, and Financial Analyst Journal. She serves on several editorial boards and frequently presents her research at national and international conferences.
Dr. Martin received her Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, an MBA from University of Miami, and her Ph.D. from Florida Atlantic University.
