Romania: Bucharest and Transylvania

M.B.A.: International Travel Course
in Partnership with the STJ School of Law Spring 2011


The Peter J. Tobin College of Business has partnered with the St John’s School of Law to design a business law course that includes 7 days of travel to Romania. Students will attend lectures in the STJ School of Law and travel to Romania over Spring Break 2011. In Romania, students will attend site visits to global companies and government institutions and receive lectures to learn first hand about the opportunities and challenges associated with transacting in an emerging market.

Course
Transactions in Emerging Markets – Courses at TCB have been approved to be cross-listed with the Law course that will satisfy an international or free elective. Please meet with your Advising Dean to determine which of the approved courses will fit into your program requirements.

Eligibility Criteria
Must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher and submit a current CV

(includes: airfare, hotel, transportation to/from hotel/airport, business site visits with top level executives, meetings with government officials, a day trip to Transylvania, and some meals)
