Studying in the Eternal City
"Picture yourself in Rome, studying at a café in the middle of
Piazza Navona. That is exactly what I did. My experience at St.
John's in Rome, Italy was a dynamic and rewarding one. Everyday was
a new learning experience, both in and out of the classroom.
I started the MBA program in September 1995, when the campus
first opened, and I received my degree in 1997. During my studies,
aside from the outstanding classroom experience, I was able to
improve my Italian language skills, learn about the European
culture and economy firsthand, and most importantly, to establish
lifetime friendships with my fellow classmates from all over the
world. These experiences provided me with a fundamental base that
is needed in today's business world. We were often assigned group
projects, attended business seminars on campus and participated in
tours to leading international business facilities like the
Benetton Group.
On the Rome campus, you find that the students, faculty and
administration are open, friendly and always there to lend a hand.
I never felt like I was away from "home". St. John's was the only
university that allowed me the opportunity to receive an American
accredited MBA degree while living in Rome. This has opened new
doors for me in my career here in New York and for this I am
grateful."
