The Tobin College of Business was one of the first business
schools to open an M.B.A. program abroad. Students have the option
of completing our entire M.B.A. program in Rome, or simply studying
there for a semester or two.
The location of the campus in Rome, Italy and its proximity to
major business and financial centers offer additional opportunities
for intellectual exchange and practical experience.
The M.B.A. program in Rome is a world class business program that
meets the strict accreditation standards of the prestigious
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB
International.
The Overall Picture
The M.B.A. curriculum (Finance,
International Business,
Marketing Management) incorporates a wide range of knowledge,
skills and experience. Apart from functional knowledge, our M.B.A.
program is focused on the development of analytical, communication
and writing skills. In business practice, the issues confronting
executives combine aspects of marketing, management and finance.
The curriculum provides students with a well-rounded and broad
knowledge base in all these functional areas of business
administration.
Full-Time and Part-Time Study
Students who attend the M.B.A. program on a full-time basis and
have an undergraduate degree in business may complete the program
in as little as one academic year, including the summer session.
Those students who enter St. John's without an undergraduate degree
in business can spend up to two years of full-time study completing
their M.B.A. program.
