Finance at the Peter J. Tobin College of Business, St. John’s

of the current financial issues as well as hands on problem solving
strategies. Many Tobin College of Business graduates have taken
leadership positions in major financial institutions. Those

We are among the elite programs in the nation that have a
state-of-the-art Financial
Information Lab. This facility greatly benefits our students in
their research and helps them solve real-world business problems in
real-time using the same sophisticated technology that is in place
at Wall Street firms. Students in the Asset
Management class manage a live portfolio of approximately one
million dollars. Our students also participate in the New York
Society of Security Analysts equity research competition every
year. The Master in Science degree in Investment Management is
designed to provide students with expertise to make effective
financial analysis and investment decisions.
